Your novels, outlines, and drafts are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. We do not upload, copy, or back them up on any server. Clearing your browser data deletes them permanently.
When you request a generation, we send the current project context (your idea, premise, cast, outline, and the text being polished) to third-party large-language-model APIs to produce the output. This content is transmitted over HTTPS and processed by the model provider solely to return your result. We do not build profiles from your story content.
PlotForge uses no tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics during the beta.
